Who Will Be The Steals Of 2021 NFL Draft

The NFL Draft begins on today, and everyone in the sporting world is gearing up for the blockbuster event. The 2021 NFL Draft is being hyped as one of the best ever, especially at the quarterback position. With a lot of quarterbacks being projected to get picked early means there could be a lot of star position players slide today, and some stars be selected on Day 2 of the Draft. Now, here are the guys who could be steals in this year's NFL Draft.

Micah Parsons, Linebacker, Penn State

Now, Micah is tough to call a steal because most experts believe that Parsons will be selected within the first 15 picks in the NFL Draft. With that being said, Parsons is arguably the best player in the draft, and widely considered the best defender in the draft. Parsons is going to get picked early in the draft, but he has the potential to have us looking back and question why he was not picked in the top 5.

Brevin Jordan, Tight End, Miami (FL)

This year’s draft has some of the best tight end prospects ever, led by Kyle Pitts of Florida. Penn State tight end Pat Freiermuth is also considered to be a top pick from the position. Those 2 are clearly top prospects, but at the start of the 2020 college football season, some experts considered Jordan the best prospect and best tight end in the nation. Jordan has the potential to be great and could be a key contributor to a championship team in the future.

Davis Mills, Quarterback, Stanford

This draft has been hyped as one of the best draft’s ever for the quarterback position. Trevor Lawrence, Zach Wilson, Justin Fields, Mac Jones and Trey Lance highlights the draft for the most important position in the sport. But there are some potential sleepers at the position, and one that could be great is Davis Mills. Mills is the prototype QB for an NFL team. He has a golden arm and is a solid athlete. He does not have a lot of experience, but with the right team that is patient in developing him, he could turn into a very good quarterback in the NFL.

Rondale Moore, Wide Receiver, Purdue

The 2021 Draft is also great for the receiver position. Guys like Ja’Marr Chase, DeVonta Smith and Jaylen Waddle could all be picked with the first 15 picks in the NFL Draft. But some of the best receivers are normally steals in the late rounds, and Rondale Moore could be the steal of the draft at the position. Moore reminds a lot of people of a young Tyreek Hill and is arguably the most electrifying player in the draft. If Moore reaches his potential and stays healthy, he could be an All-Pro receiver in the future.

Gregory Rousseau, Edge, Miami (FL)

It is amazing that in a passing league that edge rushers seem to be forgotten in the draft. Last year saw Chase Young selected at No. 2 overall and he appears to be a superstar, but this year is not as promising on the position. However, Gregory Rousseau is extremely talented and could be a steal in the second round. In limited playing time at Miami, he showed promise and could be the next great defender coming out of The U this year.

There are a lot of players in the Draft that have potential to be steals, and we will have to wait and see in the future who the next stars are. The 2021 NFL Draft begins on today April 29 at 8:00 pm EST.
