New Manager Hype for Leeds and Everton - EPL Match Week 23 Preview
Everton and Leeds are charged up by the new-manager hype and will face EPL giants this weekend. Facing potentially harsh punishments due to illegal financial activities, Manchester City will try to move on from their defeat against Spurs. Kane made history last weekend and will look forward to capitalizing on it, while Arsenal need to get past their loss to Everton. Here is the EPL Match Week 23 Preview. (All times are in EST. Game day/time subject to change by the EPL without prior notice.)
West Ham vs. Chelsea (02/11/2023 7:30 AM):
West Ham have only gotten the better of Chelsea once in their last five head-to-heads. Both teams have lost two, drawn two, and won one of their previous EPL matches. While Chelsea's form has declined, West Ham have seen improvement. They earned a point against Newcastle in St. James' Park. With so much transferring spending, Chelsea don't have much to show, which may put Graham Potter in the hot seat that Solskjaer found himself in Manchester United. Given Chelsea's problems with scoring goals, this game may end in a draw. However, if Chelsea really push hard, they may earn a hard-fought victory.

Arsenal vs. Brentford (02/11/2023 10:00 AM):
Arsenal enters this match week off the back of a shocking away defeat to Everton. Brentford, on the other hand, enjoyed a three-goal win against Southampton at home. While Brentford have a good scoring record, their away form has been below par, as they failed to get passed Leeds two weeks ago. Arsenal will come here to put their defeat behind them, and they should enjoy a home win to boost their drive to the championship.

Crystal Palace vs. Brighton (02/11/2023 10:00 AM):
Out of the ten encounters between these two sides in EPL history, five have ended in a draw. Palace have taken the lead three times, while Brighton have snatched the three points twice. Despite losing the game, Viera's Palace gave Man United a hard time in Old Trafford. They have not enjoyed victory in any of the last five matches in all competitions. However, Brighton won four of their previous five games and only shared the points with Leicester away. Brighton have the upper hand in terms of statistics, but playing away is challenging. A draw is likely in this game, followed by a slight chance of victory for Brighton.

Fulham vs. Nottingham Forest (02/11/2023 10:00 AM):
Fulham barely won the reverse fixture by a one-goal margin in September. Forest's form has definitely improved. Not only are they out of the relegation zone, but they also have not lost any of their previous five matches in EPL. Historically, the last five games between these two sides have gone for the visiting team. This is music to Forest's ears. However, Fulham are the favorites to break history and win a home game against Forest.

Leicester vs. Tottenham (02/11/2023 10:00 AM):
Tottenham's morale is boosted following their victory against Man City, during which Harry Kane scored to become the highest-scoring player in the club's history. Despite their away win against Aston Villa, Leicester's fluctuating form may backfire against motivated Spurs. Tottenham should earn the three points in this match.

Southampton vs. Wolves (02/11/2023 10:00 AM):
Southampton are at the bottom of the table and in deep crisis. Wolves left the relegation zone but are by no means safe from finding themselves in the bottom three. The home win against Liverpool improved Wolves' morale. Statistics are on Wolves' side, too, as they won four of the last five head-ons with Southampton in EPL history. While a draw is possible, Wolves have the chance to win this game.

Bournemouth vs. Newcastle (02/11/2023 12:30 PM):
Newcastle have only enjoyed one victory out of their previous five EPL matches and drawn the other four. They scored only twice and lost one goal. This is not a good record. Bournemouth, too, have had a poor run, losing four of the last five matches. While Newcastle's recent run has not been promising, they're the favorites to win this match against the relegation-zone hosts.

Leeds vs. Manchester United (02/12/2023 9:00 AM):
Leeds stunned Manchester United in the postponed midweek game in Old Trafford with a 2-2 draw. Casemiro's absence following his three-game suspension (due to a red card against Crystal Palace) hurts United's midfield. He will be suspended in this fixture as well. Leeds, who sacked Jesse Marsch recently, may be experiencing the hype of a new era - the same way Everton stunned Arsenal or United played in the first few weeks of Solskjaer's tenure. Man United's recent away record in EPL has not been excellent, but Leeds haven't won a single game in their previous EPL matches either. The visitors are the favorite to snatch the three points and avenge the midweek match.

Manchester City vs. Aston Villa (02/12/2023 11:30 AM):
Aston Villa stunned City in September in the reverse fixture. Man City also lost the match last week to Spurs, but so did Villa against Leicester. Haaland has been kept silent by the opponents, and De Bruyne seems sluggish at times. Added to all this are the illegal financial charges against City, which may cost them points, titles withdrawn, or relegation from EPL. However, if the players can focus on the game and feed Haaland with scoring opportunities, City have the upper hand to win this match.

Liverpool vs. Everton (02/13/2023 3:00 PM):
Sean Dyche's first game as Everton's manager ended in a dram win against Arsenal at home. Playing the derby against Klopp's Liverpool, facing their fair share of problems, is his second tough challenge. Both teams have won only one of their last five EPL matches, losing three. At home, Liverpool can be dangerous, but they may face a fierce Everton motivated by the new-manager hype. While Liverpool are the favorites to win, a draw is also possible.
