A Golden State of Mind

The Golden State Warriors are a dynasty and we need to all thank them for watching greatness. It is unbelievable when you think about what the team has accomplished in the past ten years whether it is championships, or always being in contention.

Golden State has made 6 out of the last 8 finals, which is simply dominance. It doesn’t matter who the role players are, or if there is a super team. They just keep winning all of the time and are not sorry about it.

The core of Draymond Green, Stephen Curry, and Klay Thompson continue to dominate the whole league. The chemistry between these players is unmatched and makes us understand how they are so good.

The Warriors won championships in 2015,2017, and 2018 with teams that were all completely different. The 2015 team was in the early stages of creating the dynasty where Steph Curry just proved the kind of shooter he was.

By 2017 and 2018 the team was just too good with the addition of Kevin Durant. The super team was unstoppable. The difference between the Warriors dynast and the Bulls is the core of the Warriors.

The Bulls had a super team that included Michael Jordan, but the Warriors did not always have two MVPs on their team. They won with Steph as the centerpiece and Klay coming in as the close second.

The core also succeeded when they added a second MVP in Kevin Durant making them unstoppable. This year the Warriors are in the finals again, but on this team, younger players are coming off the bench which made the difference.

Jordan Poole and Kevon Looney have continued to prove how valuable they are all post-season. Poole is a quick slasher to the rim that has an unlimited range from downtime, while Looney is a grinder that clogs up the paint.

It doesn’t matter what you do to this Warriors team as long as they are healthy, nothing is stopping them from winning the championship.

Long live the Golden State Warriors Dynasty.
