25 April - White Sox vs. Blue Jays Game Preview & MLB Free Bet (7:10PM ET)

Tonight, we get an AL east and AL central battle with the Toronto Blue Jays and the Chicago White Sox. The Blue Jays come into this game looking to win this series and set up a possible sweep tomorrow vs a team in the White Sox who are really struggling, winners of only two of their last 12 and not having won a series to start the 2023 season. Tonight, the White Sox get to see a familiar face to try and get a much-needed win, and maybe, just maybe propel this team towards a run-in early May.

That familiar face on the hill for Blue Jays tonight is Jose Berrios. Berrios, 28, is a young veteran who will be making his 184th career start tonight against a team he faced many times back with his time in the Minnesota Twins organization. That familiarity has hurt Berrios in regard to facing the White Sox recently, giving up a total of 15 earned runs in his last three meetings. Berrios has also struggled outside of his recent starts against the Sox. Since joining the Blue Jays in 2021, Berrios has compiled a 18-14 record with a 5.01 ERA, this unfortunately coming after signing a massive 7-year extension worth upwards of 131 million, in hopes of being the ace of this Blue Jays staff for years to come.

For the underdogs tonight, the White Sox will lean on right hander Mike Clevinger, who is making his 5th start in the month of April. Clevinger has been solid to say the least to start off his White Sox career, arguably being the most consistent starter in the rotation in the month of April. Clevinger comes in with a 2-1 record sporting a 3.26 ERA and looking to make his 3rd quality road start against a very good Blue Jay lineup.

Tonight, I like the underdog. The White Sox come in with a 6-game winning streak in starts made by Berrios, and with the White Sox desperate for a win, I love the value in this team tonight. The books will adjust, but from what I see tonight, they have not just yet.
